“The Snitch”

While out in the wilderness we always try and be as quiet and indiscreet as possible so as not to disturb nature, and thus increasing our chances of seeing something. But sometimes our chances quickly diminish if we’ve been spotted by a raven, for they will often sit high among the tree branches and cry out to the forest announcing our presence. When this happens, we know our chances of seeing wildlife that day are next to none, as the snitch will follow us, calling out for all to hear. But regardless of their intentions, they never cease to amaze me with their intelligence and ability to mimic a wide range of sounds, including that of a purring cat.
